Just spent the morning fell running on Saddleworth moor. Driving winds+deep snow+steep climbs=Excellent fitness and endurance workout. With fantastic views, in my opinion this beats running on a treadmill any day. If anyone is interested in doing a bit of fell running and/or fell running, plus an overnight pitch on the moors. For example; Kinder scout, see me during a class. We get to improve our fitness and endurance, orienteering skills, and most of all have fun.
